Return of Garlic Jr.

The ashes reformed, but before Garlic could even move, he was once again burned into ashes. Indeed, this was a hell for him, far worse than the horrors of the Dead Zone. And there was no escaping. And with the continous pain that he would have to endure, he wouldn't be able to concentrate enough to get more followers. The gravity of the sun's core practically ensured he would never escaped.

It goes without saying, that the immortal wished for death silently, if only so he could die and get the pain over with...

Back on Earth, Corey looked at the sun.

"This would be the part where I say 'See you in Hell', but you're immortal, so that doesn't really apply, does it?" the Saiyan asked, reverting to normal.

The remnants of the Makyo Star fell to the sky, burning in the atmosphere, a fitting event if there was one. Corey sighed then looked to his friends. Jasper was helping Otis up onto his shoulders.

"Don’t worry, we’ll get you to Terra..." Jasper muttered, running towards Corey, a smile on his face.

Makuta just stood on a pillar of rock, tattered clothes waving in the wind. He closed his eyes and smiled. Sonic got up and gave Corey a thumbs up. Kale walked towards Corey, stretching his arms in the air, and then put them behind his head.

"To easy!" Sonic yelled.

"I could have done that..." Kale added.

"At least it's over now. Garlic will never be able to escape the sun. By the time his body reforms, it'll just be incinerated. This process is very agonizing, and indeed, he'll regret ever wishing for immortality." Otis remarked.

"Let's head home..." said Corey, lifting up into the air...

"Alright!" Kale said, jumping into the air.

"Race yah!" Sonic yelled, running on foot. Corey and Kale took off after him in the air.

'Hmmph" Makuta laughed, soaring towards them.

"Idiot get moving!" Otis yelled, still on Jasper back.

"Hold up!" Jasper yelled, takng off. They all flew full speed, laughing. Peace had been restored once more.

"Is it over?" Knuckles sighed.

"Not 'till the fish jumps!" Shadow replied. In a nearby pond, a fish jumped up and then went back into the pond with a splash... "It's over..."
