Episode #22: It Was A Feint?! The Terrifying Rage of Omicron!

"What the hell?!" Corey asked, the words escaping his mouth as the enemy's anger swelled. Charger and Zymon both looked to one another. The heroes involved in the fight all exchanged looks, that suggested they didn't quite know what just happened. They were about to be reminded though.

Omicron charged, landing a power punch into Corey's cheek. Charger rushed in, trying to put a halt to the child abuse, only to be met with a boot to the chest. Zymon panted, trying to recover from the strain of using his last attack.

"His anger...!" Drew noted aloud. "It's just like...back then...only on the opposite end of the battlefield...!" He recalled precisely what had happened back in the School Wars five years ago. "Damn it...if he has this kind of berserker rage...we all have to get in there...!"

Edd and Streak began to make their way back to the others, discussing what just occured.

"So you're saying that this operation up here was to draw our attention away from whatever's going on up at Yellowstone?!" asked Streak, rushing just under Edd.

"That's correct, Streak. Whoever is behind all this must be a deviously cunning strategist of some sort. This just raises the question...what kind of extraterrestrial would want these towers on Earth?"

Omicron took haste in creating two large energy spheres in his hands. As he began to fly forward, he launched both.

"Makuta!" Drew hollered. The two flew forward, their bodies turning red as they flew. Two white energy blasts zoomed past them, taking care of Omicrons own attacks. Kaia had fired said blasts, now in her Ki Form.

"Hippo guy!" Savannah yelled, running towards Charger. She jumped up, tackling him to the ground. Meanwhile, Omicron swiped at Drew, who dodged and did a full body hold on the generals massive arm. Makuta did likewise, and the two managed to push Omicron back.

Jasper went up to Zymon, asking if he was okay. The Distorter nodded, having regained his composure. What the Android didn't see, was the boy picking up some teeth and putting them in his pocket...

"Sweety, please get off of...uhhhmm" Terra began.

"Charger..." the rhino gave his name, and Alysha dragged her sister off of Charger.

"You alright?"

"Fine...who exactly are you guys-" Charger began, before being cut off by another one of Omicrons roars. He threw off Drew and Makuta with ease. Bolt looked over Jasper's shoulder, only to hide back behind his back upon seeing Omicrons angry image.

"He hasn't just recovered..." Makuta began.

"He's even stronger..." Drew finished for the Namekian. Everyone immediatly powered up, a large red aura with some spirals of numerous other colors spouted around the heroes. Likewise General Omicrons dark blue aura engulfed him, creating a crater and shooting debris all across the battlefield.

Streak and Edd finally make it to the others and shared the conclusion they had come up with.

“If you’re right then the others could be in trouble; common let’s head to Yellowstone” Tai Ma said to no objections. Everyone took off towards Yellowstone in hopes that they would be able to make it in time to help the others.

"Whoever is behind this is a cunning little bastard, let's just hope we can find out who's behind all this and what they are after" Tai Ma thought to himself as he and the other continued to fly at top speed to Yellowstone park unaware of what was taking place.

The fighters at Yellowstone once more went at it. Omicron and Drew rushed each other, the latter trying to distract him with a few ki bolts. Those were easily deflected, save for the last, which Omicron caught and crushed, shattering it into essentially a Trap Shooter without any form of tracking whatsoever. Those in the range of the blasts dove for cover. Those who weren't rushed in, only to be hammered back.

Omicron's turn

Omicron pursued the closest fighter who successfully evaded, Drew, and savagely kicked him in the gut. The Saiyan flew backwards and skidded across the land, forming a trench, but the insane Android did not yield. He outraced Drew and kicked him back the other direction. Now rocketing uncontrollably in an opposite trajectory, the veteran was helpless as Omicron once again caught up to him and tossed him straight up. The Android ascended into the sky at a breakneck speed, already above the clouds in seconds and then shot straight back down in an attempt to practically bifricate Drew. However, because-and only because-Omicron's anger blinded him and affected his trajectory, the Android only made a glancing hit. It still did terrible damage, however.

Omicron attacks Drew, inflicting 71,599 SP and 17,899 HP damage. (150,860-> 79,281) (25,140-> 7,241)

As Omicron landed from is attack on Drew, Makuta charged in an attempt to catch him off guard. The Namekian threw his fist forward in a fast jab, only to be blocked by Omicrons arm. The general suddenly took the initiative, throwing powerful punches at Makuta. The veteran managed to dodge the hits, but barely an inch was between his body and the attack each time.

Makuta couldn't believe it, Omicrons speed was more or less equal with his own! Makuta couldn't even get an attack in, as the android entered his own offensive rhythm. Finnaly, when Omicron fired off a slower right straight, Makuta dodged with a back flip and landed on his hands. Shifting his weight to keep balance, the Namekian went forward slightly. As Omicron attempted to grab him with both arms the veteran replied by spinning his body and kicking the two limbs away.

With Omicrons own balance thrown off, Makuta began to bombard him with kicks. With one final powerful kick to the jaw, Omicron stumbled backwards.

Makuta attacks Omicron, inflicting 42,168 SP and 10,542 HP(SP: 240,000 -> 197,832)(HP: 240,000 -> 229,458)

Corey rushed forth at the demented Android following Makuta's attack, and caught him off-guard with a kick that sent him helplessly into the air, flailing angrily. Corey streaked after him in a blaze of red, and hit him towards the ground.

"Take this!" he yelled. "Kamehame---HA!!" A large blue beam was fired after the appropriate poses were struck, and Omicron held onto it, his entire body seeming to be able to withstand the force. From below, Drew, having caught his breath after Omicron's devastatingly powerful attack, soon set up shop below the ongoing block struggle, and extended his hands into the air.

"Go to Hell!" the older cousin yelled, sending up a large blue Ki wave, the Heat Dome Attack, into the ongoing struggle. Sandwiched between the two attacks, Omicron was caught in the middle of an epic explosion.

Kaia watched carefully as the smoke from the cousins' combined attack cleared. Unexpectedly, Omicron was still alive, and seemed to be in decent shape despite the fact he was at the center of a Ki blast sandwich.

Things got worse when Omicron began to charge one of the twins. In a flash, Kaia was over to the attacking Android, and with a well-executed kick, landed a critical blow to the maniac's face.

Kaia attacks Omicron, inflicting 41,051 SP damage and 10,262 HP damage! (SP: 30,658 -> 0) (HP: 187,665 -> 167,010)

Stat-based part of the battle is over.

Omicron pulled himself out of the rubble he was kicked into by Kaia. He forced himself to stand properly before letting a massive amount of explosive energy surge out of him and knock the heroes back several yards. None of them could believe he was still standing.

"Unreal! We hit him with everything we had and yet he's still standing." Yelled Terra.

Jasper shot a cold glare towards Omicron. He nudged Bolt to get off his back and get somewhere safe before he charged the general full speed. The two proceeded to trade super fast blows that shook the area. Jasper dodged an uppercut by back-flipping away to safety before launching himself back at the general and hitting him in the stomach with a powerful punch. Omicron ignored the pain and proceeded to grab Jasper by the head and pummel him into the ground. Jasper hit the ground so hard that he felt the outer layer of his super tough skin crack slightly. Terra would have to do some repairs. Speaking of Terra, the saiyan rushed to Jasper's aid and grabbed Omicron from behind and lifted him back into a wrestling style suplex and knocked Omicron into a man made grave.

Omicron's hand burst out of the ground just as he pulled himself out. The general looked at the heroes before and grit his teeth in anger.

"Do you really think you all can defeat me?! I am General Omicron! My power is maximum!" He yelled before flying full speed at Zymon.

Zymon caught a stroke of luck and was able to dodge Omicron's devastatingly powerful punch that completely obliterated the ground he was standing on. Zymon moved to attack but Omicron was too fast and anticipated Zymon's Hydra Beam by smacking it off course and towards the other heroes. The beam was headed right for the twins, who were moved out of the way just in time by Charger. Omicron disappeared from Zymon's sight and the next thing Zymon knew he was hit in the back by a powerful burning sensation. Omicron had fired a Ki blast right into Zymon's back and the saiyan fell to his knees in pain. Omicron turned his attention to Kaia and Terra. He smiled evilly before disappearing from sight once again.

Omicron appeared directly behind Terra and kneed the saiyan in the spine. A loud cracking sound was heard followed by loud scream from Terra.

"Daddy!" Savannah yelled before she attempted to charge Omicron, but she was held back by Charger.

Before Kaia could comprehend what had just happened she was bitch slapped into several trees in the nearby woods. Terra succeeded in getting up after a large struggle. His back was killing him but it was nothing to serious from what he could feel. Omicron laughed aloud, mocking the heroes.

Makuta, Corey, and Drew were standing near each other, looking on in frustration at what was going on. No matter how hard they hit this guy, he would just get back up and keep fighting.

"I don't know about you two but I'm not going to rest until this bastard is a pile of scrap metal." Said Drew.

"I couldn't agree more, Drew." Replied Makuta as his red aura flared to life again.

Corey simply nodded before he, Makuta, and Drew let their kaioken auras explode around them.

Omicron looked on with a sadistic smile.

"Let's see what you've got!"

Meanwhile with Group 1:

Kale's senses were flooded by several decreasing power levels. Whatever the others were fighting must have been giving them a hard time. Rolf was flying next to Kale at this time. The Son of a Shepherd looked over to the blind saiyan and nodded, clearly Rolf knew what was going on as well. Rolf knew the others were aware of the sudden decrease in some of their comrades' power levels.

"Damn. Just hold out a bit longer Master; we're almost there." Said Kale.

Alicia could feel the energies of Terra, Kaia, and Zymon. They weren't at critically low levels but they were lower than the others. She balled her fists in anger and sped up.

"Man things are really starting to heat up. We've got to move fast." Said Eddy.

"Onward Space Flunkies!" Yelled Ed.

"The Ed-boy speaks the truth! Shacklava!" Yelled Rolf as he activated his kaioken times 10 to speed up.

The others followed his example and sped on towards Yellowstone even faster.

Drew was first to charge at the android and the two began to trade punches at a great speed. Eventually both locked arms and tried to overpower one another. It seemed as is both were even but Omicron was clearly the stronger of the two as he began to push Drew back.

“Corey you help Drew, I need some time” said Makuta. Corey nodded and flew off to help his cousin fight off the android. Makuta descended to the ground and clenched his right fist as hard as he could. Makutas arm then began to slowly increase in size and veins could be seen forming around it.

By now Omicron had reached his (minimal) threshold for annoyance, these two Saiyans that kept striking at him fruitlessly were akin to mosquitoes.

Omicron hated mosquitoes.

Omicron wanted everything to be killed, especially by him. But he wanted to save the two cousins for last. Corey attempted a kick to Omicron's back, but the Android spun around fast enough to snatch the Saiyan by the leg. Drew tried to punch the general, but once again the Android proved faster. Now holding the two cousins in each vice of a hand, Omicron began to spin. First slowly, then faster and faster, the sheer speed eventually created a small tornado. Both cousins were being ragdolled, and were almost as concerned to breaking free as keeping their lunch where it belongs.

Believing that the Saiyans would be incapacitated for the time being, Omicron released them one by one. Both Saiyans brutally rocketed into the caldera, both landing close to each other more because of chance than precision on the Android's part.

Zymon charged forward, scythe in hand. He slashed and slashed, Omicron instinctively dodging each attack. Finnaly with a downward arc, Zymon managed to cut Omicrons forearm. With a roar of anger, the general retaliated wit ha kick to the Distorter's chest, knocking him away. Zymon opted to regain his strength, wheezing as he attempted to stand.

Makuta pumped his arm back, and deemed his attack ready. He launch forward, Omicron seeing him from a mile away(figuratively). The android cocked his arm back for a punch. Makuta wasn't worried, in fact...

"Five Ren...Kugi Punch!" Makuta yelled, and the two fighters fists collided. The ground under them cracked, and shards of earth flew in all directions. With one more yell from both of them, a shock wave sent Makuta flying and Omicron onto his back.

As Omicrons arm lay down on the ground, it suddenly began to violently shake as a shock wave erupted on it. And another. Omicron couldn't move his arm as the impacts added up to five. As Makuta rose, triumphant in his effort, he held his arm in discomfort.

The general went berserk.

As if the Adnroid could not get any madder, it simply stomped around, charging at random fighters but changing course when hw was half way to them. Stamping his feet, flailing his arms and yelling deafiningly the whole time. Out of context this behavior sounded like that of a very upset child throwing an immature tantrum in response to being mistreated. However, to the fighters present, Omicron was only proving to be far more difficult of a foe to beat. It seemed that no matter how much the heroes harmed the Android, Omicron would just "yell it off" and strike the attacker with bloodthristy fervor.

"Guys, this Android is powering up again!" Jasper stammered, Bolt slightly cowered behind the Android.

"We can still beat him, but we are going to have to push it to the limit again and take this bastard down." Terra added, still barely able to stand.

"The upkeep of any higher level of Kaioken would kill us in our weakened state, there has to be another way..." Corey thought, evading the rabid general as he got too close for comfort.

Omicron was done stampeding around, his energy still continued to surge. A dark blue aura formed around the Android, glowing brighter with each second. The ground rumbled, and in some places on the caldera, smoke was rising out of cracks.

"He's going to trigger the volcano!" Terra barked, the enormous volcano at Yellowstone had been dormant for over six hundred thousand years, but could easily blot out the sun worldwide if it erupted. At any moment the volcano could burst, and none of the fighters could really do anything about it. The group from Antarctica was still too far away to help, and everyone present simply couldn't sustain another assault long enough to make a difference.

"Omicron!" a voice inside the Android's head shouted, a clear hint of discontent in its tone. "Return to the headquarters, Earth is useless to me destroyed."

The Android roared again, this time with frustration more than anger. He was so close to killing all these vermin, there was no way that the boss could stop him! The Android mentally replied: "These monkies must die! All of them! And you can't stop me now! Not while I am so close!"

The voice was much more stern this time. "Omicron, return to the headquarters or I will escort you there. Do you really want me to escort you there?"

Defeated, Omicron seemed to have jettisoned his fury. His emotions, aura and the environment around him calming down. While he was still mad, he no longer had the same savage zeal the heroes had witnessed moments ago. The Android zoomed off north into the horizon, none of the fighters able or willing to pursue. Now, all they could do was rest and wait for the other group to arrive...

Those at Yellowstone reverted to their base levels, all looking very tired. Savannah and Alysha made sure to stay with their father as everyone gathered.

"Why would he suddenly leave like that..." Zymon questioned.

"Probably didn't want to set off the volcano..."Corey replied.

"But he seemed far to engulfed in his own anger to stop himself..." Makuta said. He was still holding his arm. Everyone was exhausted, and it was noticeable in their expressions.

"Between training,traveling, and fighting we've all had a long day. It's lucky we made it through that fight without any fatal injuries." Drew said. He crossed his arms over his chest, and began to look annoyed.

"Their is still the matter of who you are..." Drew said, looking over to Charger, who somewhat distanced himself from the group.

“My name is Charger” Charger said with his arms crossed while the others stared and wondered.

“By any chance, would you happen to be from the earth clan?” asked Corey which caused Charger to raise an eyebrow.

“How do you know about the clans?” Charger asked.

“We have a friend who is from the Lightning clan, and I saw you controlling rock so I assumed” Corey answered. Charger was surprised to hear that someone from another clan had joined such a group of fighters.

“Well you know who I am, so who are you?” Charger asked.

"Jasper! Jasper! Look what I found!" Bolt jumped off the Android's back and ran over a small hill, Jasper began to follow briefly afterward. Climbing over the hill, the small robotic armadillo skittered into a fairly large spaceship. This silver spaceship was square with the corners rounded out, and four legs with the purpose of supporting it. However, the earthquake also did a lot of damage to it, a massive chunk seemed to have been torn off and rested on the ground. One of the legs gave way and the ship fell over on the intact side. Overall, it wasn't airworthy in many senses.

"At least we know how they got here..." Jasper muttered, the Android threw a weak ki blast into the sky to serve as a flare and then also entered the ship.

Jasper explored the space ship till he reached the control room which was more or less a mess from the earthquake. The room looked like it was big enough to hold all the androids they had just battled. Bolt moved on ahead of Jasper and went for what looked like the master computer of the room and began to do what it was created for. Bolts finger turned into a compatible plug for the alien computer and he jacked in to it.

“Will you be able to hack in?” Jasper asked.

“There are a lot of firewalls so it will take some time” Bolt said as the computer monitor began to flicker from Bolts attempts to hack it. While Bolt worked on the computer Jasper walked about looking at the room. Several monitors were cracked and a lot of the circuitry looked fried so there did not look like the ship was usable anymore. Suddenly an alarm started to sound and there was a red light flashing repeatedly.

“That doesn’t sound good” Jasper said.

“Oh no, no no no no!” Bolt said in a panic.

“What happened?” Jasper said as he ran up to Bolt.

“The computer has a hack safety on it; it was set to induce self-destruct the moment the fire wall was breached!” Bolt yelled. With no time to wait Jasper grabbed Bolt and began to run out of the space ship before it was too late. The others had just arrived and they could hear the alarm and wondered what was happening. When they looked into the entrance they could see Jasper running towards them.

“It’s going to blow!” Jasper yelled as he threw Bolt whom was caught by drew. They then turned around and ran away from the ship to get away from the blast radios. Jasper has just made it out of the space ship as it began to glow brightly. Jasper did not have enough time to get out of the blast range before it blew up and when it did he was launched forward with great force. Jasper was sent through several trees from the force that sent him forward but eventually he had slowed down and hit the ground.

“You okay Jasper?” Terra yelled. Jasper got up from the ground and dusted himself off; there was some clear signs of burn marks on him but it was nothing for an android.

“Yeah I’ll be fine” Jasper said as he walked towards the others.

"Damn..." Drew managed. "Did the guys in Antarctica have any better luck?"

"We'll find out soon..." said Corey. "They're all headed this way now." The younger Saiyan quickly changed subjects. "Well, that whole thing was pretty much a lost cause. To answer your previous question, Charger, I'm Corey." When Drew gave a guttural cough, probably out of indifference, the younger cousin shot him a dirty look for a fraction of an instant. "And the moody guy with the angular hair is Drew."

"Makuta..." Makuta gave his name. Savannah immediatly made herself noticable, and spoke up.

"I'm Savannah! And this is my sis Alysha! You already talked to my Dad. My Mom is visiting the penguins right now, and shes mean. She wouldn't let me go with her. Oh!Streaky is there to! He kind like you, but orange!" Savannah rambled on as Charger was introduced to the others.

"Glad to meet you all but...please...you all seem to know what all of this is," Charger began, taking a step back. He looked somewhat sad and angry at the same time,"You have to tell me whats going on!"

The heroes all went silent, except Savannah who still rambled on.

"Well, its kinda top secret..." Terra spoke up, bringing himself to painfully sit up.

"He did just help us..." Corey brought up. Chargers expression didn't change, still wanting answers.

"Well, given the circumstances...its up to you Drew..." Makuta said, and everyone turned their attention to him. "As the leader, its important to make an informed unbiased decision about what to do..."

Drew briefly paused, reflecting on the decision he must make. Disregarding the fact that Charger was an abomination, Drew was part of the government and must withold its secrets. As far as anyone knew, Charger could very well be an oppritunistic villian pretending to be hero. That, and Drew simply knew by a gut feeling that Mr. Noodle was watching, be it through Bolt, or spy satellite. However, desperate times call for desperate measures...

"We are on a mission to hunt down aliens that have shown up recently." Drew flatly spoke, trying not to let grieviances interfere. "We are the Neo Earth Special Forces, and have been dispatched to Yellowstone to complete said mission. However, as clearly shown by the battle with 'Omicron', we need help from anyone able enough to help. Regardless of who they are." Drew gritted through his teeth on the last part impulsively, talking to Charger seemed to make him sick to his stomach.

"So you want me to join you?" Charger straightfowardly replied, looking at the others around him. All of which either too bust licking their wounds or slightly nodding their heads in approval.

"Yes, we cannot guarantee that you can be part of our group, we must speak to our representive and await their approval." Drew began to feel very nauseous, whether it was from Omicron spinning him around or speaking to the Furry was not important for him. Rushing to somewhere out of sight of everyone else to vomit was...

Charger watched as Drew ran off to empty his stomach contents but was unmoved from the sight for whatever reason.

“I get the feeling he doesn’t like me…” Charger said which was met with an awkward silence as the others knew all too well about Drew’s problem with the furry species.

“Ahem, well like he said we are not sure on whether you will be allowed to help but it couldn’t hurt to try” Corey said to break the silence. At this moment the other had arrived to see that everyone was beat to hell and there was a new face in their mix.Streak himself was probably the most surprised to see another animal like him but he did not recognize who it was so he couldn’t have been from his village.

“Looks like both sides have a story to tell” Tai Ma said as he landed in front of the others.

Both sides we're shared, both groups being surprised at the similar circumstances that happened to the other group. Both had fought off what we're basicaly fodder, only to be attacked by a much stronger Android. Only Yellowstone's group had faced Omicron, who was much stronger than the late Lambda.

"That golden guys speed was out of this world..." Eddy said, with loathing. He was obviously comparing its speed to his own.

"Our guy was as fast as the fastest of us, and definitely physically stronger..." Corey replied, rubbing a bruise.

"What i'm wondering is where these Androids came from...I mean...do you think it was-" Streak began, before being cut off by Drew.

"I doubt Utonium could have survived that blast...but even if he could have, he wouldn't have been able to gather any of these aliens we've seen..." Drew said. The others pondered this. "At any rate, we better all head home."

"Hold on..." Tai Ma interjected,"We're all pretty tired... especially everyone who just flew here..."

"Fine.." Drew said, slightly annoyed. Though even he was exhausted. "We can take some time to rest up."

With that, everyone split up slightly. No one went out of eyes reach, only to went to talk to someone else. Savannah (With Alysha close behind) immediatly grabbed Streaks hand, and led him over to Charger. Both had noticed the other during the explanation, but they had not spoken.

“So there really another clansman in their ranks” Charger said starting the conversation. Streak was still a little surprised to see another clan’s animal but brushed it off.

“My name is streak from the lightning clan, I have been with this group for a couple years now” Streak said extending his hand.

“Mine is Charger, I’m from the earth clan” Charger said as he shook Streaks hand.

“I have never seen someone from another clan before to be honest” Streak said.

“Same for me, but considering each clan wants to keep their location a secret it’s not a surprise really” Charger replied. The two continued to talk about their achievements and what tests the have passed up till now. It turns out both of them are more or less of the same rank and have passed the same tests, their training made them more or less equals but their elements technically make them rivals.

Kale approached Makuta to speak with him. Makuta was looking over to the damaged caldera, facing away from Kale.

"How did it go..." Makuta said, still not turning back.

"I managed to make it through unharmed, though I didn't fight the actually strong one..." Kale said. He unconsciously brought his left arm to rub his right (the green one).

"I see..." Makuta replied. After a few moments of slight awkwardness...

"Oh, and their is one other thing..."Kale spoke up. Makuta turned to see Kale slightly bowing his head.

"Thanks to our training at Tsumisumbri, the cold was nothing..."Kale said, causing Makuta to smirk slightly. Makuta walked past the blind Saiyan, put gave him a quick pat of the shoulder as he passed.

The Son of a Shepherd was sitting at the top of a redwood tree that was over 100 feet high. Rolf was meditating there alone,clearing his mind. His cape fluttered in the breeze as he sat perfectly still. A purple outline appeared around him as he continued his meditation. Thoughts concerning the previous battles he fought today were going through his mind. After a few minutes Rolf found himself in an absolutely peaceful state of mind. He felt...relieved.

As the meeting between the anthropomorphic creatures continued, Drew stood with his back to the tree, watching the spectacle.

"Disgusting..." he mumbled incoherently.

"Drew, don't even start," Corey responded. "Like it or not, an ally is an ally. It shouldn't matter whether they have skin and hair or fur or scales."

"I just don't like it..." Drew stubbornly re-stated. "Double-D, Terra, could you two see if Bolt got anything usable?"

"On it," Terra said, already walking over to the still-shaken mechanical armadillo. Double-D gave no real word of affirmation, still a little on the frozen side given he went to the antarctic wastes, as he followed.
