Makuta's & Kale's Training RP: Heritage Arc Post Episode 12

It had been two days sense Kevin had been outed as the creator of the Androids. Fearing whoever had taught the boy would soon attack, Makuta took Kale into the Tsumisumbri Mountain range for a more intense style of training. The Tsumisumbri Mountains, a area so cold that the ice is said to be incapable of melting. While raising there base power and maximum Kaioken level was of the utmost importance, the real reason they left Peach Creek was to attempt to master a certain technique in solitude.

The sunlight reflected off the ice beautifully as the sounds of battle echoed threw the area. Kale's sword was stabbed into the snow of a cliff, its use rare in a physical spar.

"HAAA!"

"GRAAH!"

Makuta and Kale clashed once again, elbows colliding. the force of the blow sent the two back, and they landed on there feet.Aside from the lack of his scarf, Makuta was in his usual outfit, slightly damaged from the nonstop spar of the last few days. Kale was wearing tattered jeans, while his shirt and usual jacket were not present. His strong physique and blind eyes gave him the look of a veteran-ed fighter. He even had a few scars, no doubt from sword training and Makuta's sparing.

"Still can't help but feel this is pure fan service..." Kale said, panting heavily. Even he knew a females reaction to a "nice body", without his sight no less.

"No idea what that's suppose to mean..." Makuta replied, breathing hard himself.

Two Days Prior...

Makuta and Kale touched down. After looking around for a minute, Makuta gave a slight nod of approval and turned to Kale

"Alright, we will train here."

"Man, why is it so cold?" Kale said, rubbing his hands together.

"Were up north, near the arctic a place called the Tsumisumbri Mountains. I trained here during the School Wars once." Makuta said, rem-incing.

"And why here exactly?" Kale replied.

"The cold will toughen you up..." Makuta replied simply. He took his scarf of and threw it aside. "Now, take your clothes off..." Makuta finished, cracking his knuckles, and neck in preparation.

"Huh!?" Kale said, taking a step back in confusion.

"Nothing below the belt, just your shirts..." Makuta said, annoyed.

"Why...." Kale said, almost a whisper, as he threw his sweatshirt aside.

"What better way to use the cold climate to a training advantage then to do so." Makuta replied, as if such a thing was obvious. Kale sighed, knowing there was no arguing with his master. He took off his shirt, and threw it aside as well. After another order, the Saiyan flew up and planted his sword in a snowy cliff.

Both fighters aura's flared outward, as the spar began

Round 1 Start!

Makuta kicked the spar back into gear, stretching his arm back and blasting it forward. His fist ripped threw the air, the air visibly being shooting away in shock waves. Kale couldn't react in time, as the fist struck him dead in the gut. The arm continued to stretch, until Kale hit a wall of ice, which of course didn't break, increasing the damage.

Makuta attacks Kale with Gomu Gomu Pistol at 2 BS's, inflicting 706 SP damage (3,600 -> 2,894) and 176 HP damage! (2,172 -> 1,996)

Kale took a step from the wall, with quite the ache from the impact.

He's really not holding back. These last few battles have realy pushed me passed my limit. I'm almost as strong as him...

Kale glided forward, at a high speed obviously, and brought his fist back seemingly for a punch. Makuta noted Kale's awkwardness in bring the fist back, and sent a kick the Saiyan's way. Kale's body diseapered on connection with Makuta's attack, and the Namekian felt a elbow crash into his spine. Makuta's back straightened in surprise in pain. Makuta could feel the Ki Kale had put into the attack.

"After-image..." Kale said, jumping back. He got back into a fighting stance, waiting for Makuta's reaction.

Round 2 Start!

Makuta turned around, only to disappear, reappearing in the air. Extending both hands downward, a large sphere of energy formed.

"No...no no no!" Kale said, sensing the energy. He was obviously attempting to blast Kale away, simple...too simple...

"HA!" Makuta yelled, and a barrage of Ki bolts came out of the sphere. Kale sensed this just in time to dodge them, but the Namekian fighter continued to adjust his aim and continue the onslaught. Kale jumped back and forth, feet being caught in the snow, while at the same time sliding on the spots with less snow.

A larger bolt of ki blasted out of the sphere, which Kale managed to block. Makuta's effort however, knocked the boy to the ground, and he became a non moving target for the remaining shots.

By the end, Kale was half covered in snow.

Makuta attacks Kale, inflicting 629 SP damage (2,884 -> 2,265) and 157 HP damage (1,996 -> 1,839)
----EARLY END TO BATTLE

After a few seconds, Kale burst from the snow, rubbing his arms.

"Man that's cold." Kale said, before senseing Makuta land, power going into a more friendly state.

"Alright, it's time to get back to work on that move..." Makuta ordered, throwing Kale a Senzu bean, which hit the blind boy in the forehead before he managed to catch it.

A few minutes passed, and Makuta's and Kale's auras flowed around them as they both powered up to equal degrees.

"That should do it. We are at equal wavelengths it seems..." Makuta said, and Kale nodded in agreement. The latter swallowed a bit, as the aura faded. "To review, after we match our energy outputs, we just need to link or reserves together. Once that is done, we channel out Ki into one another. This will cause a amplifier effect, and the Ki will return to us multiplied highly."

"Assuming we can get it right this time..." Kale said. Failure in this task was not a painless result. His mind drifted for a moment, as he picked up on a few dozen power levels at the base of the mountain. Kale turned his head, pointlessly due to his lack of eye sight. He had felt these energies on and off this training trip, mainly when Makuta wasn't giving him a hard time training.

The Previous Day

"Can't believe so many people would want to ive in this weather. Though at least they get to wear warm clothing..." Kale said.

"Well Kale, there residents of this planet all the same." Makuta replied, looking down. He thought for a moment, then turned to Kale. "Kale, let me ask you. I'f I wasn't your teacher and hadn't brought you to Peach Creek and throwing us into this battle, would you have even considered doing what your doing now?" Makuta calmly questioned.

"What do you mean?" Kale asked, unsure of what the Namekians question was referring to.

"Would you ever fight these Androids, these 'villains' if I hadn't pulled you into it."

Kale thought for a moment, not sure how to answer.

"Better question, do you understand why we do it. Why we all fought in the School Wars. You have your own goals, just as everyone does. But do you think about the big picture? The common good?"

"Alright, lets get started..." Makuta said, closing his eyes. Kale did likewise. Makuta's aura flared outward, but in a more solid spherical form. KAle's siver aura did the same.

Alright...

Out energies are matching...

A tendril of Makuta's aura branched off in Kale's direction. It slowly connected with Kale's aura, and the tendril began to grow. Suddenly, both aura's "popped". Kale doubled over, and coughed up red all over the snow under him. Makuta began to shake, a line of purple leaking down the edge of his mouth.

"Again..." Makuta said, regaining a straight posture. Kale nodded, and picked himself up. They attempted it again, with the same results...

A day passed, and the two continued for nearly all of that time. One final attempt took them both overboard.

The burst of there Ki's sent the two down the mountain side, the stress of the earlier attempts having clouded there control caused them two both go at full power and remain unbalanced. As the two stopped moving, they lay in the snow, just in front of the village of people. But something wasn't right, a panic was going on threw the village. The two fighters stood up, and saw the source of the pandemonium.

The result of there sparing, and other training had caused mountaintop of snow to descend down the mountain they had training on's side, and as the wave of cold went down it picked up more speed and mass.

"Damn it..." Makuta said, barely able to move. He turned to the villagers, who all looked worried. Kale overheard the villagers talking about the avalanche, and the noise of it told him of its size.

"We're too warn out to stop that thing..and it's...all our fault.." Kale said, in self doubt and shame.

"We don't have any other chance. We HAVE to get it right NOW!" he yelled. Neither of them looked sure of themselves, but they got into the poses none the less. The usual bubbles of aura appeared, but this time something different happened. A tendril not only sprang from Makuta's aura, but now Kale's as well. The two met in the middle of the air, and connected.

It's..it's working..

Those people, I can't just let them die...

The two's aura's began to grow in size, both at the same time and rate.

I won't...

Both aura's doubled in size yet again. The tendril that connected the energies thickened.

The two's sphere's finnaly enlarged into one single light blue sphere.

"SPIRIT RESONANCE!" the two called out in one singular yell!

OOC: End was VERY rushed. But yes, it is complete. Glorious cliffhanger after all that.

Again, no issues here. Kale's nipples must be RIGID right now. (*shot*)
