This is a demonstration of the Kaioken technique. The PCs can comment, even join in the fight if desired, but this serves to show how the Kaioken works.

For the purpose of the RP, the Eds have six Senzu beans (2 each).

The Eds flew through Peach Creek, sensing three evil Ki signatures. They left their mentors at the training site, taking 2 beans an Ed with them. Eventually, they found the Dark Saibamen terrorizing the place.

"Stop right there!" Edd screamed.

"Well, more of these things popped up, let's destroy them!" Eddy said, striking his fight pose.

"Lothar will see to it you don't succeed!" Ed yelled.

Eddy's aura flared up. "Let's get this over with!" His power level surged to max.

Edd and Ed followed suit. The Dark Saibamen also flared up with an aura as their power surged to max.

OOC: What the fighters did right now was "Energize". Originally, only the Saiyans would be able to do this, but I decided to make it possible for everyone to do it, including Henchmen. For every energizing, the user gains +5 to Strength, +2 to Prowess, +3 to Endurance, +10 to Spd, +10 to M.D.C. (calculated by adding HP and SDC, then dividing by two before the modifiers). In addition, the energy attacks are used as if the player had an extra level of experience per energizing; it can be done equal to character level. (3 for us, 2 for them) It costs one melee action and 2 Ki.

OOC #2: And yes, Kaio-Ken can be stacked on top of this, but the cost to HP makes it...still life-threatening.

Eddy charged Ki. "Let's try this out...Double Kaio-Ken!!" The Saiyan's body took on a reddish glow. He then fired off a Ki beam, which connected with its target, inflicting a great deal of damage, but was still a far cry from killing the beast. Eddy knew this, and rushed through the smoke with three more punches, all of which connected. The final punch knocked off his opponent's head.

Double-D was the next to power up, using a Double Kaio-Ken as well. He fired off a Ki beam at his opponent, also dealing a great deal of damage. He rushed through the smoke, and with a punch to its face, broke the face of his enemy, and with one final Ki-infused hook kick, demolished his enemy's body completely.

Ed decided to take it one step further..."Triple Kaio-Ken!!!" His aura flared, and for a moment, Ed winced in pain as the power razed his body. He then charged into battle with his opponent, and, using the rest of his Ki, used three powerful kicks, all of which connected it.

The Dark Saibaman left over activated its self-destruction technique. The Eds realized it in time, and were able to clear the area before they could be engulfed in the Blast Radius of the attack. All three of the mysterious aliens had been defeated.
