Rolf's Training RP: Heritage Arc Post-Episode 9

In the forested mountains of Peach Creek there was a teenage boy. He had blue hair that was somewhat spiky, very tan skin, and a muscular build. The boy was moving at superhuman speeds, punching and kicking every boulder and tree that was in his way. He stopped momentarily to catch his breath from the rigorous training he was going through. The boy was none other than Rolf, a resident of Peach Creek's infamous cul-de-sac. After his momentary break he continued his training by doing pushups, sit-ups, pull-ups, handstand pushups, boulder lifts, and sprints in the sets of a 1,000 each. The training took over three hours to complete, but when he was finished he was exhausted and drenched with sweat. With the physical training done, he moved on to the mental aspect. He crossed his legs, closed his eyes, and entered into the meditation technique that his father and Great Nano showed him. After what seemed like hours of searching the pitch black void that was his mind and body, he had finally found what he had been looking for. In the darkness he saw a purple flame like light. He reached to grab it but every time he did it would slip away from his grasp. It wasn't until he stopped trying to gently take it and instead yank it towards him by force that he succeeded in obtaining his inner power. His Ki! Once this was done, he opened his eyes and fired a small, but powerful, purple beam towards a boulder, obliterating it. Rolf rose to his feet and felt the new power flowing through him, he felt…great! Rolf had been training for several weeks, around the time the new group came to the cul-de-sac.

FLASHBACK:

They were only interested in the Eds, which brought suspicion to Rolf. Curious, he followed them to the area where they trained. After seeing what they were doing and learning what they truly were, Rolf couldn't help but feel that he too was like them. After all he was the only one, aside from Ed, that could lift an object such as a tree without difficulty before those strangers came. He immediately went home and searched his family's history and found that there were many who had extraordinary abilities such as flight, strength, speed, and energy blasts. He asked his father and Great Nano what they were and they told him how they were descended from powerful beings from the "sky." Rolf made the connection between space and sky and deduced that he too was a saiyan like the Eds and some of their new friends. He continued to spy on their training sessions and carefully analyzed techniques such as the Kamehameha, Special Beam Cannon, Split Form, and Kaioken. He even learned of their ability to sense energy too. He was, however, very interested in this "Goku" person. His fighting skill was otherworldly and his techniques were on a whole other level. To Rolf, he had found a role model to look up to and strive to become better. Rolf was unsure how to approach them and tell them that he was a saiyan as well; so he decided to train by himself and be ready for anything that would threaten the cul-de-sac.

END FALSHBACK:

This style of solitary training continued for about another week, where he had finally mastered the Kamehameha, Special Beam Cannon, Split Form, Energy Sense, Flight, and the Kaioken times three. He even developed his own signature attacks; he called them Ancestors' Revenge and Meat Lord's Wrath. He developed the Ancestors' Revenge by combining elements of the Kamehameha and Ed's "Sphere of the Sphinx." When used the user would form the attack, in front of their hands, into a ball that was half the size of the user. The attack was purple with a reddish glow to it. When fired, the attack would rush out in a beam and obliterate anything in its way. The Meat Lord's Wrath was an attack that when used the user would fire a beam with one hand into the air and then the beam would branch off and strike multiple foes. Rolf sensed his power and in comparison to the others he was just as strong as some, stronger than a few, but weaker than another select few.

"Rolf's abilities have improved in such a short amount of time. Rolf fears that more than just his turnips are threatened."

Just then Rolf sensed a group of beings headed straight for the heroes.

"So it seems the evildoers have begun their attack? Poppycock! Rolf shall train more and soon… Rolf shall join the good doers and protect Rolf's ancestors' honor!"

Rolf began to channel more and more power through his body until he was covered in a red aura.

"Kaioken times three I say!"

Rolf's power spiked, as he finished the usage of the technique.

"We shall see the fruit of Rolf's training!"

Rolf created a clone, equal power, and continued training. He was determined to become stronger than the other heroes by a long shot, and he wouldn't let anything stand in his way. Elsewhere, a man in an orange and blue Gi, similar to Goku's, was watching Rolf train with interest.

"Hmm…this kid is full of surprises. I think I'll show him the ropes when the time comes."
