Edd, Eddy and Streak Training RP: Heritage Saga, Pre-Utonium Battle

During their training with Goku, all of the Earth's defenders in the 21st century were subjected to harsh training when possible, though mostly, he let them do their own thing, having taught them a viable training method that had helped him on his way to Namek. It was how he went from roughly low ten-thousands to ninety thousand. Granted, he had 100 times Earth's gravity to help him, but these heroes did not have the same luxury of training, so 1 times Earth's gravity and a lesser version of the same training was going to at least double their powers before the week was out.

Streak, Edd, and Eddy, however, sensed they were lagging behind their friends a great deal, so they went off to the side to conduct their own fight. Rather than have a handicap match; trainees-versus-vet, it was going to be a much simpler one-versus-one-versus-one fight to the finish.

"You two ready?" Streak asked, activating his Raiken. Edd and Eddy answered with using the Kaioken.

"Let's go!" Eddy yelled.

"We need this...to sustain a better chance against whatever Utonium is going to throw at us. While we weren't able to download all the data in #17's file...we were able to get the answer we needed..." Edd overexplained.

The orange hedgehog rocketed forward, with a left hook aimed at Eddy. Eddy avoided the attack, however, and tried to plant a kick into Streak's stomach. Streak was too fast for Eddy, evidenced by the second punch the anthro landed on the Saiyan.

Eddy recovered from the punch, and attacked back with his own kick. Streak was sent flying back, but he soon recovered by taking a crouching position and skidding along the ground on his gloved hand.

Edd, seeing that Streak's Raiken wasn't quite on the same level as the Kaioken, decided to spread his attacks evenly between the two. Well, he'd already decided to do that, but he would start with Eddy instead of the orange hedgehog. The toll of their respective powered-up states was beginning to show on top of the damage they'd already done to each other, so to Edd, it just wouldn't be fair for both of them to attack Streak.

So, Edd made his move, kicking an off-guard Eddy in the stomach, sending him flying back.

"This is a free-for-all, and I don't expect Streak to show gratitude..." Edd explained.

"Still was a dirty move, Sockhead..."

True to Double-D's predictions, Streak didn't form a temporary team with Eddy, as he instead chose to unleash a lightning-based energy attack on the sockhead, his Lightning Strike!

Eddy then proceeded to join in when Edd was still stunned, he himself uppercutting Edd into the air.

Edd, however, still did not press the attack on Eddy, instead opting to go for his original plan and attacking Streak next. Since Streak opted to use an energy attack on him, Edd decided to return the favor with a newly learned attack: the Masenko. While it wasn't nearly as strong as the family's, Edd was still happy to have learned it.

He charged the attack and fired, the accompanying "Masenko-HA!!" sending out a yellow beam of energy. Streak didn't have time to dodge, blown back by the attack.

The sparring went on after that, all three dropping out of their powered-up states to prolong the spar just a tiny bit longer. The clashing of willpower and strength between the anthropomorphic war veteran and the two Saiyan trainees dragged on for a while. By the end, Streak understood something.

"...Corey and Drew...have trained them very well. All three of them...and certainly so with all the other student-teacher pairs on our team...I'm probably the only one without one...oh well." Streak observed to himself as the spar drew to a close. "...At least I don't have to worry about near-death increases putting them above me..."
